About Me
Elana June Margolis (she/her) is a Queer Jewish teacher, artist and ordained Kohenet (Priestess). Her work is dedicated to realigning texts and ritual/ pedagogical technologies in service of the world we are co-creating: a world of peace, justice, beauty and Liberation for ALL Peoples.
Elana June stepped into her work as a ritualist in 2010 in the Bay Area with the Temple of Our Lips: A Coven for Queer Jewish Witches. Over the past decade, Elana June has produced 13 Purim Epics, collaborated on three Passover Haggadahs and hosted countless rituals and ceremonies. In 2021, she received semikha (ordination) as Kohenet Chalav U Dvash b'Tehom (the Priestess of Milk and Honey in the Void)

Since the start of the 2020 Pandemic, Elana June has collaborated with a wide web of wild Queer Jewish minds to offer online space to connect to Source and community through the medicine and magic of the Jewish wheel(s) of the year.
Elana June has worked in the Waldorf World for over a decade. She received her certification at the Bay Area Center for Waldorf Teacher Training under Dorit Winter and served as a class teacher at the East Bay Waldorf School for four years.
Elana June currently makes her home in Lenapehoking, colonially known as Brooklyn, NY where she serves as a teacher at the Brooklyn Waldorf School.
Elana June's commitment to creative, embodied education and ritual as a tool for aligning culture towards collective liberation is consistent in her work with children and adults.
